Dr. Lund's research focuses on investigating the signaling pathways involved in environmental (air) pollution exposure - mediated contributions to disease states in the human body, including cardiovascular disease, obesity, neurovascular/blood-brain barrier (BBB) disorders, and dementia-related disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, as well as exposure related outcomes on the microbiota profiles and diversity in the lung and intestine.
