Title: Analysis of Students' Knowledge, Perceptions, and Interest in Engi-neering Post Teacher Participation in a National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experience for Teachers (RET) Professional Development
This thesis examines the impact of the University of North Texas' Research Experience for Teachers in engi-neering on students' levels of self-efficacy, knowledge of engineering, perceptions of engineering, and interest in engineering after their teachers participated in the UNT RET program. Paired surveys were analyzed to determine if there was any difference in attitudes and knowledge after teachers implemented lessons created by during their time at the UNT RET.
